আমারে চোখ-ইশারায় ডাক দিলে হায় কে গো দরদি।
খুলে দাও রঙ-মহলার তিমির-দুয়ার ডাকিলে যদি।।
গোপনে চৈতী হাওয়ায় গুল্-বাগিচায় পাঠালে লিপি,
দেখে তাই ডাকছে ডালে কু কু বলে কোয়েলা ননদী।।
পাঠালে ঘূর্ণি-দূতী ঝড়-কপোতী বৈশাখে সখি,
বরষায় সেই ভরসায় মোর পানে চায় জল-ভরা নদী।।
তোমারি অশ্রু ঝলে শিউলি-তলে সিক্ত শরতে,
হিমানীর পরশ বুলাও ঘুম ভেঙে দাও দ্বার যদি রোধি।।
পউষের শূন্য মাঠে একলা বাটে চাও বিরহিণী,
দুঁহু হায় চাই বিষাদে, মধ্যে কাঁদে তৃষ্ণা-জলধি।।
ভিড়ে যা ভোর-বাতাসে ফুল-সুবাসে রে ভোমর কবি,
ঊষসীর শিশ-মহলে আসতে যদি চাস নিরবধি।।

” Amaar e chokh isharay” The famous collection of Nazrul songs Bulbul, was published (1st edition) on 15 November 1928 (Ashwin, 1335). Publisher DM Library, Calcutta. The rebel poet Kazi Nazrul dedicated this book to composer Dilip Kumar Roy. The standard and Raj editions were priced at one taka and five shekels, respectively. The book’s second edition was published in Chaitra month of 1335 Bengal. There were 49 songs in this version.
